Una mañana en un supermercado José, el dependiente, se puso a poner las etiquetas a las botellas nuevas. De pronto se le fueron los ojos detrás de Laurita, una chica sexi que desde pequeña que siempre era deseada por todos los chicos del lugar. Se distrajo tanto que, sin darse cuenta, le puso una etiqueta a un cliente muy entendido en vinos llamado Raúl que estaba comprobando la calidad del vino y su añada, por lo que estaba mirando muy atentamente la botella, así que no se dio cuenta del despiste de José.
Don Raúl, una vez elegida al fin su botella siguió con su compra, fue a un frigorífico y miró los congelados que solía comprar, con tan mala suerte que paso la Mari, su vecina. Esta era una señora ya entrada en años que se quedó mirando atentamente el precio que tenía pegado en la espalda Raúl. Ella cogió a Raúl y se lo llevó. Entonces Raúl empezó a gritar :
-¡ Déjame en el suelo gorda loca!
La Mari, sin querer echar cuenta a sus griteríos, lo llevó hacia la caja para comprarlo. Una vez ya allí la cajera pasó a Raúl como si fuera una simple manzana. Cuando salieron del supermercado Raúl se pudo zafar de la Mari y salio corriendo hacia el puesto de policía más cercano con la mala suerte de que al cruzar la calle siguiente se lo llevó un coche por delante.
Después de dos días en coma en el hospital de La Paz donde había entrado por el golpe, cuando Raúl despertó se encontró a la vera de la cama a La Mari y esta le dijo con voz de preocupación y de consuelo:
-Tranquilo Raúl, ahora te cuidaré y te daré todos los mimos que desees.
Raúl resignado y dándose cuenta que la Mari no le iba a dejar ir, decidió ceder e irse con ella en cuanto saliera del hospital. Raúl y la Mari vivieron varios meses juntos.
Una mañana llamaron a la puerta inesperadamente. Era un amigo intimo de Raúl , se llamaba Juan, Raúl le había contado lo sucedido y este decidió ir a verlo. En un despiste de la Mari, que había ido a traerles un café, los hombres decidieron salir de la casa a toda velocidad. Cuando lo consiguieron Juan cogió su coche, fueron hacia los juzgados y denunciaron el suceso pero no les creyeron así que Juan le propuso a su amigo salir de la ciudad.
Llegaron a Sevilla y Raúl buscó trabajo en las mejores bodegas de la ciudad, consiguió que lo contrataran y allí Raúl fue feliz ya que encontró una chica a la que quería y formaron una familia.
